PASS PLUS

Pass Plus is an advanced driver training course designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) to make newly qualified drivers become better drivers. Pass Plus can also give a number of other benefits, such as cheaper motor insurance. 

Go Facts that you may not have known;

1. In the first year of driving, one in five drivers are invloved in an accident.
2. New drivers make up around 10% of all drivers, but are responsible for 30% of all accidents.
3. It takes around 2 years or more to gain enough experience to become "natural" with the controls, and dealing with other traffic.

These facts apply to new drivers of all ages. Yes passing your test is simply the first stage or hurdle in your development in what is after all a life skill. The facts show that within the first 2 years of passing your test, this is the most likely time you will expierience an accident, sadly for some it is their last.

Insurers know these facts well and insurance premiums for new drivers can run well into the thousands. However, from experience we have seen our pupils save up to 48% on their premiums representing a potential saving of many hundreds of pounds.

Further to this, the PASS PLUS course is designed to give you experience with a qualified driving instructor, who will train you in a variety of situations you will not have been trained in during your learning period, for example in dealing with Motorways.

There are many aspects to these modules that will be covered and practised in detail. We actively encourage all to enjoy the experience. There will be no test at the end of training, so no pressure to achieve another test standard. Rather, you can be confident that your first few years as a driver can be safer, as you will have experienced and been trained in more aspects of driving than most, effectively to 'Drive and Survive!'

The Pass Plus certificate is obtained by spending a minimum of six hours in further training, due to this the required training can take place in one day.
